Business
Smartlink Holdings Limited (SMARTLINK.NS), a Mumbai-based non-banking financial company (NBFC) founded in 1993 and formerly known as Smartlink Network Systems Limited until its name change in April 2018, holds investments in securities, properties, mutual funds, bonds, and deposits alongside stakes in its subsidiaries engaged in IT networking and electronics manufacturing. Through its wholly owned subsidiaries Digisol Systems Limited and Synegra EMS Limited, the group sources, develops, manufactures, markets, distributes, and services a comprehensive portfolio of networking products under the DIGISOL brand in India and internationally, targeting distributors, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), system integrators, small and medium businesses (SMBs), enterprises, smart cities, manufacturing, healthcare, telecom, hospitality, education, retail, surveillance, data centers, and IT/ITES sectors; core offerings encompass FTTH solutions including XPON/GPON/GEPON ONUs, OLTs, PON transceivers, splitters, fiber distribution boxes, and fiber cables; switching solutions such as managed/unmanaged/fully managed/lite/smart managed/chassis/industrial/multigig switches, transceivers, media converters; Wi-Fi 6 indoor/outdoor/enterprise access points, controllers, USB adapters, range extenders, and broadband routers/wireless LANs; structured cabling systems featuring copper (solid cables, keystones, patch panels/cords, faceplates, RJ45 connectors) and fiber (patch cords, pigtails, LIUs, industrial field plugs, termination tools, drop cables) components adhering to EIA/TIA, ISO/IEC, UL/ETL standards with 25-year warranties and TEC certification; alongside electronic products like computer motherboards/add-on cards, telecommunication items, and electric vehicle chargers, supported by nationwide service through 63+ centers, DIGICARE after-sales (call center, repair, field services), and training via DITT institute. Synegra EMS Limited operates certified manufacturing and R&D facilities in Goa with SMT lines for PCB assemblies, FTTH/Wi-Fi/telecom/defense products, and contract manufacturing for DIGISOL and other brands, emphasizing Make in India exports/domestic growth. In February 2024, the board approved a scheme of amalgamation merging Synegra EMS into Smartlink Holdings to streamline operations, integrate R&D/design capabilities for IT networking at the holding level, eliminate managerial/regulatory overlaps, achieve cost savings/economies of scale, simplify fundraising, and enhance market reach/flexibility, with the application filed at the National Company Law Tribunal Mumbai; consolidated revenue from operations rose 28% to INR 20,918 lakhs for FY 2024 (ended March 31, 2024), driven by active/passive networking demand amid India's digital infrastructure boom, 5G/IoT/Wi-Fi 6/cloud trends, while standalone revenue grew 31% to INR 1,254 lakhs from investment and subsidiary activities.
