Direxion Daily Small Cap Bull 2X Shares (SMLL) is a leveraged exchange-traded fund that seeks daily investment results, before fees and expenses, of 200% of the daily performance of the Russell 2000 Index. The fund, part of Direxion Shares ETF Trust and managed by Rafferty Asset Management, LLC, invests primarily in equity securities, derivatives such as futures and swaps, and other funds to achieve its leveraged exposure to small-cap growth and value stocks across diversified U.S. sectors. Launched on July 29, 2014, it is domiciled in the United States with principal operations at 535 Madison Avenue, 37th Floor, New York, New York. The ETF targets sophisticated traders and investors seeking magnified short-term exposure to the small-cap segment of the U.S. equity market, as represented by the Russell 2000 Index; it does not seek to provide returns over periods longer than one day due to the effects of compounding. Direxion Shares ETF Trust serves a broad range of leveraged and inverse ETFs focused on sectors, indices, and single stocks, with geographic operations centered in the U.S. markets. In recent developments, Direxion has expanded its product lineup through multiple launches of new leveraged and inverse single-stock ETFs, including those targeting Ford (F) in July 2025, Boeing (BA) and Exxon Mobil (XOM) in April 2025, Eli Lilly (LLY) and Palo Alto Networks (PANW) in March 2025, and further suites like Titans Leveraged & Inverse ETFs in October 2025 and crypto/AI infrastructure funds in November 2025. The firm also closed two underperforming ETFs, OOTO and CLDL, in June 2025, and appointed Mo Sparks as Chief Product Officer in April 2025 to support ongoing innovation. These strategic moves reflect Direxion's focus on high-conviction, tactical trading products amid evolving market demands.
