Business
Southern Empire Resources Corp. is actively involved in the procurement, exploration, and advancement of metal and mineral deposits across North America. The company now holds full ownership of the Oro Cruz Project, encompassing approximately 2,160 hectares within California's Imperial County, near the Cargo Muchacho mountains. This property, which includes the historical American Girl mine, is progressing with permitting for an upcoming exploration drill program focused on high-grade oxide gold. Additionally, Southern Empire has finalized its 100% acquisition of the Pedro Gold Project, an approximately 1,750-hectare area in Durango State, Mexico, noted for its potential for Carlin-style gold systems. The company also retains an 85% stake in the Eastgate Gold Project, consisting of 101 unpatented lode mining claims spanning around 817 hectares in Churchill County, Nevada. Southern Empire has recently transferred its option on the Centauro Gold Project in Chihuahua, Mexico, to a subsidiary of Fortuna Mining Corp., securing future milestone payments and a 1% net smelter return royalty. The company also holds an option on the Suaqui Verde copper project in Sonora, Mexico, diversifying its portfolio. Originally established as Owl Capital Corp., the entity rebranded to Southern Empire Resources Corp. in March 2018. Southern Empire Resources Corp. was incorporated in 2017 and operates from its corporate headquarters in Vancouver, Canada.
