- Global X Internet of Things ETF (SNSR) is an exchange-traded fund that seeks to provide investment results corresponding generally to the price and yield performance, before fees and expenses, of the Indxx Global Internet of Things Thematic Index. The fund invests in companies positioned to benefit from the broader adoption of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies, including semiconductors, sensors, connectivity components such as WiFi, 5G infrastructure, and fiber optics; integrated hardware and software solutions; and applications spanning smart grids, smart homes, connected cars, and the industrial internet. SNSR holds approximately 59 securities across sectors like information technology (66.7%), industrials (18.0%), and consumer discretionary (9.1%), with top holdings including STMicroelectronics NV, Garmin Ltd, Skyworks Solutions Inc, Samsara Inc, and Lattice Semiconductor Corp; it operates without geographic or sector restrictions to capture global IoT innovators. Launched on September 12, 2016, the ETF trades on the Nasdaq under ticker SNSR with a total expense ratio of 0.68%, net assets of approximately $200 million, and semi-annual distributions.
