- Supreme Petrochem Limited manufactures and markets styrenics and specialty polymer products in India. The company produces polystyrene including general purpose polystyrene (GPPS) and high impact polystyrene (HIPS); expandable polystyrene (EPS) in standard and flame-retardant grades; extruded polystyrene insulation boards (XPS); masterbatches in white, black, colour, filler and UV variants with various carrier resins; compounds of styrenics and other polymers such as specialty polypropylene compounds for appliances and automotive applications; styrene methyl methacrylate (SMMA); and undertakes styrene monomer production. Among recent developments, Supreme Petrochem Limited pursues expansion of its Mass Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) project to 140,000 metric tons per annum in two phases of 70,000 metric tons each at the Amdoshi plant with the first phase targeted for completion by March 2025; enhances capacities for compounds, masterbatches and EPS at Amdoshi; acquires 96 acres of land in Munak, Karnal, Haryana for a new phased facility over 36 to 48 months to produce polystyrene, EPS and derivatives including 3D panels and PS sheeting lines at an estimated cost of Rs 800 crore funded internally; and launches a 12.5 megawatt solar power plant in collaboration with Tata Renewable Energy Ltd to support sustainability goals, positioning overall Amdoshi capacity to reach 522,000 metric tons per annum post expansions.
