The company offers a comprehensive portfolio including optical fibers; optical fiber cables such as Unitube Single Jacket Indoor Optical Fibre Cable with Multi-Core Fiber technology; optical interconnect solutions; virtualized access solutions; network software; system integration; and data center solutions that support advanced technologies like 5G, AI, quantum key distribution, and silicon photonics. Sterlite also delivers global services for network construction and maintenance. Founded in 1988 and headquartered in Pune, India, Sterlite Technologies operates manufacturing and innovation facilities across four continents and serves telecom operators, cloud service providers, large enterprises, and citizen networks in over 100 countries. Recently, the company completed a ₹1,000 crore qualified institutional placement capital raise, securing marquee institutional investors to support its growth trajectory. It expanded its partnership with UK-based alternative network provider Netomnia to co-develop advanced optical solutions for a future-ready full-fibre network in the UK. Sterlite launched its Unitube Single Jacket Indoor Optical Fibre Cable featuring multi-core fiber technology at Connected Britain 2025, enhancing data transmission capacity in compact form factors for high-growth applications like data centers and commercial buildings. It also expanded its optical connectivity portfolio in the US market, including the release of high-density 864-fiber micro cables designed for longer network life and cost savings. Additionally, the company signed a multi-year partnership with Australia’s Vocus Group to deploy ultra-slim micro cables and its flagship Stellar bend-resilient fibers, supporting high-speed connectivity across Australia.
