Business
Superhouse Limited manufactures and exports leather products, footwear, textile garments, and equestrian accessories from India to over 50 countries. The company produces finished leather including buffalo and goat varieties for safety shoes, accessories, upholstery, and fashion footwear; men's, ladies', children's, safety, and military footwear with constructions such as double density PU/PU soles, PU/TPU soles, direct rubber vulcanized soles, and Goodyear welted designs; leather accessories comprising handbags, business cases, portfolios, trolley bags, belts, and wallets; leather garments like jackets and trousers; textile garments including trousers, capris, shorts, kids wear, safety apparel such as coveralls, bib-trousers, aprons, and fleece jackets; riding products encompassing breeches, boots, saddles, and harnesses; socks; and personal protective equipment. Superhouse Limited operates through its Leather and Leather Products segment as well as Textile Garments segment, with brands Allen Cooper and Double Duty in India, Silver Street London in the United Kingdom, and Panacea Safety Solutions; it maintains 22 manufacturing facilities including four footwear plants in Unnao and Agra, LWG-certified tanneries in the Kanpur-Unnao cluster, leather goods units in Kanpur and Kolkata, and garment facilities, supported by subsidiaries in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Spain, and UAE, and a workforce exceeding 8,000. Founded in 1980 and headquartered in Unnao, Uttar Pradesh, with a registered office in Kanpur, the company changed its name from Superhouse Leathers Limited in November 2006 and recently dissolved a wholly owned foreign subsidiary while experiencing changes in directorate including the cessation of an independent director and reconstitution of board committees.
