Business
Supreme Industries Limited (SUPREMEIND.BO) is India's largest manufacturer and processor of plastic products, specializing in a diverse portfolio of plastic piping systems; cross-laminated films and products; protective packaging products; industrial moulded components; moulded furniture; storage and material handling products including crates, pallets, and dustbins; performance packaging films; composite LPG cylinders; and other items such as multi-layer sheets, expanded polyethylene foam, PVC pipes and fittings, satranj mats, and disposable EPS containers. The company operates through eight business verticals, serving residential, commercial, agricultural, industrial, and infrastructure sectors with over 14,000 SKUs in piping solutions alone, including uPVC pipes, injection-moulded and handmade PVC fittings, HDPE pipe systems, water tanks, sewage tanks, and applications for plumbing, fire protection, drainage, irrigation, borewell, cable protection, and rainwater harvesting. Founded in 1942 by the Modi family and headquartered at Solitaire Corporate Park, Andheri (East), Mumbai, Supreme Industries maintains a pan-India manufacturing footprint with 33 units across multiple states, supported by a nationwide distribution network and exports to various countries. In recent developments, the company completed the acquisition of Wavin India's pipes and fittings business for Rs 250 crore in July 2025, incorporating three manufacturing facilities in Banmore, Hyderabad, and Neemrana, along with exclusive access and a long-term technology licensing agreement for Orbia Wavin's advanced water management solutions in India and SAARC countries. This strategic move expands Supreme's capabilities in water supply, sanitation, agriculture, stormwater management, and infrastructure applications, enhancing its product portfolio and market position. Additionally, the company has pursued greenfield expansions in locations such as Guwahati, Cuttack, and Erode, while advancing sustainability initiatives including renewable energy adoption, ISO 50001 certification, lower carbon emissions, and waste management practices.
