- Surana Solar Limited manufactures and sells solar panels and solar photovoltaic (PV) modules under the Surana Solar brand in India and internationally; it operates through Renewable Energy and Trading & Others segments, engaging in generation of wind and solar power energy, trading of other solar related products, and infrastructure leasing activities. The company provides engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services for power projects on a turnkey basis on MW scale; solar lighting products, including home lighting systems and solar street lighting products; and solar lanterns for use in street, industrial site, travelling, house, and garden applications. It maintains manufacturing units at Cherlapally with an installed capacity of 40 MW and Fabcity with 20 MW for solar PV modules. Surana Solar Limited, incorporated in 2006 and headquartered in Hyderabad, India, was formerly known as Surana Ventures Limited and forms part of the Surana Group founded in 1978. In November 2024, the company incorporated Surana Technologies Private Limited as a wholly owned subsidiary to expand capabilities in trading, distribution, supply, generation, transmission, and manufacturing of solar-related products, particularly for executing solar projects. In May 2025, its board approved the divestment of a 49% equity stake in Surana Technologies to Baidyanath Power Private Limited for approximately Rs 2.03 crore, with the transaction expected to complete by May 30, 2025, after which Surana Technologies continues as a non-wholly owned subsidiary developing a 54 MW solar power project in Maharashtra.
