Business
Silver Storm Mining Ltd. Silver Storm Mining Ltd. is a Toronto-based mineral resource development company focused on advanced-stage silver projects in Durango, Mexico. Incorporated on September 22, 1980, under the Company Act (British Columbia) and continued under the Canada Business Corporations Act on July 20, 1995, the company holds a 100% interest in the La Parrilla Silver Mine Complex and the San Diego Project; the La Parrilla complex comprises a 2,000 tons per day processing facility optimized for oxide and sulfide ores, five underground mines including Rosarios, La Rosa, San Jose, Quebradillas, and San Marcos, and the Quebradillas open pit, which collectively produced 34.3 million silver-equivalent ounces between 2005 and 2019; the San Diego Project represents one of the largest undeveloped silver assets in Mexico, covering 92 hectares in the Velardeña mining district with over 33,000 meters of historical surface diamond drilling completed. Operations center on mineral exploration, development, and potential production restart activities targeting silver-rich concentrates and doré bars, with geographic focus in Durango State, Mexico, approximately 76 kilometers southeast of Durango City for La Parrilla and 75 kilometers southwest of Torreon for San Diego. The company serves institutional and retail investors in the precious metals sector through its listings on the TSX Venture Exchange (SVRS.V), OTCQB (SVRSF), and Frankfurt Stock Exchange (SVR). In recent developments, Silver Storm completed the acquisition of the La Parrilla Silver Mine Complex in August 2023; acquired Till Capital Corporation in July 2025 through a plan of arrangement involving a share exchange and providing approximately C$6.2 million in liquidity plus a portfolio of mineral investments and royalties via Till's 51.8% interest in Silver Predator Corp.; entered a US$7.0 million offtake prepayment financing agreement with Samsung C&T in October 2025, fully drawn by November 2025 to fund La Parrilla restart; closed a C$13.8 million bought deal LIFE private placement in September 2025; and commenced rehabilitation activities at La Parrilla in October 2025, with engineering contractor mobilized and long-lead items ordered, targeting potential operations restart as early as Q2 2026 following seven to nine months of preparation.
