Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Limited Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Limited (SWSOLAR.BO) is a leading global provider of end-to-end engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services for renewable energy projects, specializing in utility-scale solar, floating solar, hybrid energy systems, and battery energy storage solutions; its operations and maintenance (O&M) segment delivers asset management, performance optimization, and long-term support for EPC projects and third-party assets. The company offers comprehensive EPC services encompassing design and engineering, procurement, inspection and audit, construction, field quality monitoring, project management, testing, commissioning, grid connectivity, and specialized solutions such as anchoring and mooring for floating solar projects, bathymetric and geotechnical assessments, solar-battery hybrid integrations, and standalone turnkey battery storage. Founded in 2011 as the solar EPC division of Sterling and Wilson Private Limited and demerged in 2017 with a name change to its current form in November 2021, the company is headquartered in Mumbai, India, and maintains operations across 28 countries including India, the Middle East, Africa, Europe, South-East Asia, the United States, Australia, the Philippines, Thailand, South America, and Latin America, serving utility-scale developers, independent power producers, and commercial customers in the renewable energy sector. Recent developments include securing three new solar EPC contracts valued at approximately ₹1,772 crore for 943 MWp capacity in India and South Africa in October 2025, pushing fiscal year order inflows beyond ₹3,775 crore; winning a 1,000 MWh battery energy storage project in Rajasthan and orders from NTPC Renewable Energy Limited including a ₹1,130 crore Khavda RE power park contract and a ₹2,212 crore award; raising ₹1,500 crore through a qualified institutional placement; and reporting a return to profitability with ₹4.8 crore net profit in Q1 FY2025 alongside strong Q3 FY2024 order inflows of ₹2,400 crore, reflecting robust growth in its unexecuted order book exceeding ₹10,500 crore.
