Business
Pacer CFRA-Stovall Equal Weight Seasonal Rotation Index ETF (SZNE) is an exchange-traded fund that seeks to track the total return performance, before fees and expenses, of the CFRA-Stovall Equal Weight Seasonal Rotation Index. The fund employs an objective, rules-based methodology featuring semi-annual sector rotations within the S&P 500 Equal Weight Index, alternating exposure between cyclicals such as consumer discretionary, industrials, information technology, and materials from November to April; and defensives including consumer staples and healthcare from May to October, with equal weighting across approximately 225-227 large-cap U.S. stocks. It offers investors tax-efficient access to historically stronger seasonal sector trends via an ETF structure, with a net expense ratio of 0.60%, quarterly dividend distributions, and total net assets of approximately $15-32 million. Launched on July 23, 2018, SZNE is issued and managed by Pacer ETFs, a provider of strategy-driven exchange-traded funds headquartered in Malvern, Pennsylvania. Pacer ETFs, founded in 2015 and distributed by Pacer Financial, operates primarily in the United States, targeting institutional and retail investors seeking large-blend equity exposure with seasonal rotation dynamics. In recent developments, Pacer Financial announced a strategic partnership with financial technology firm Save in November 2025 to integrate select Pacer ETFs into Save's Liquid Market Savings Platform, enhancing cash-management solutions with market-linked returns and extended FDIC coverage for brokerage and wealth management channels. The firm also celebrated robust asset growth in 2024, approaching $50 billion in assets under management across its lineup, alongside new fund launches in its Cash Cows, Metaurus Dividend Multiplier, Leaders, and Custom ETF series, and expansion into European markets via Cash Cows UCITS products. These initiatives reflect Pacer's ongoing emphasis on innovative, rules-based strategies amid strong market performance and macroeconomic trends.
