- Talmora Diamond Inc. is a junior mineral exploration company focused on the discovery of diamond deposits in Canada's Northwest Territories. The company holds a 100% interest in the Horton Project, comprising two prospecting permits covering approximately 56,237 hectares located 120 kilometers south of Paulatuk along the Horton River corridor within the Lena West diamond region; and a 50% interest through a joint venture with Olivut Resources Ltd. in the adjoining Seahorse Project, consisting of two prospecting permits spanning about 57,573 hectares that straddle a major linear structure favorable for diamondiferous kimberlites. Exploration activities include geophysical surveys such as helimag magnetics, till sampling, indicator mineral analysis recovering kimberlite indicator minerals (KIMs) like Mn-ilmenites and spinels with diamond inclusion compositions, reverse circulation and planned core drilling on magnetic anomalies, beach sand heavy mineral concentrate sampling yielding microdiamonds and elevated rare earth elements (REE), and evaluation of microdiamond and REE potential. Founded in 1996 and headquartered at 6 Willowood Court in Toronto, Ontario, Talmora targets primary diamond sources in the Mackenzie Craton with over 40 drill-ready anomalies on the Horton property. Recent developments include the closing of a non-brokered private placement in August 2024 raising C$400,000 through 5 million hard dollar units and 3 million flow-through units to fund exploration defining drill targets for a winter/spring 2025 program; an exploration update in January 2025 detailing Seahorse sampling results with planned core drilling under Seahorse Lake; and ongoing joint venture advancements with Olivut confirming microdiamond recoveries from 2024 beach sands and potential for large high-value diamonds alongside REE by-products.
