- ProShares DJ Brookfield Global Infrastructure ETF (TOLZ) is an exchange-traded fund that seeks investment results, before fees and expenses, tracking the performance of the Dow Jones Brookfield Global Infrastructure Composite Index. The fund invests principally in equity securities, including common stocks and master limited partnerships (MLPs), of companies in developed markets that are owners and operators of pure-play infrastructure assets; these assets span sectors such as airports, toll roads, ports, communications towers, electricity transmission and distribution, oil and gas storage and transportation, and water utilities. Under normal circumstances, the fund maintains at least 80% of its total assets in components of the index or financial instruments with similar economic characteristics, employing a replication or representative sampling strategy, with a net expense ratio of 0.46% (including 0.01% acquired fund fees and expenses). The underlying index, constructed and maintained by S&P Dow Jones Indices LLC, selects companies deriving more than 70% of their cash flows from eligible infrastructure assets, weighted by market capitalization with caps at 10% per stock, 50% per country, and 50% per sector; as of late 2025, it comprises approximately 110-111 companies with key exposures in utilities (around 38%), energy (around 36%), and industrials (around 15%). Holdings are geographically diversified across developed markets including the United States (about 50%), Canada (about 17%), the Eurozone (about 15%), the United Kingdom (about 7%), and Australasia (about 3%), with top positions in companies like Enbridge Inc., National Grid PLC, Vinci SA, American Tower Corp., and TC Energy Corp. The fund distributes income quarterly and supports options trading, with shares listed on NYSE Arca. Incepted on March 25, 2014, and domiciled in the United States with principal executive offices at 7272 Wisconsin Avenue, 21st Floor, Bethesda, MD 20814, TOLZ is part of ProShares Trust, managed by ProShare Advisors LLC since inception, with Alexander Ilyasov and Eric Silverthorne as primary portfolio managers since 2020 and 2023, respectively. The fund has maintained a low portfolio turnover rate of 9% in the most recent fiscal year, reflecting stable tracking of the index benchmark originally launched by Dow Jones Indexes and Brookfield Asset Management in 2008.
