- Saigon Binh Tay Beer Group Joint Stock Company is a Vietnam-based beverage manufacturing and distribution enterprise primarily engaged in the industrial production, packaging, and commercialization of beer, malt beverages, and non-alcoholic drinks. Founded in 2005 and headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, the company serves domestic retail consumers, hospitality channels, and institutional beverage clients across Southeast Asia. The company's operations encompass: proprietary branded beers, produced under the flagship Sagota label, featuring product lines such as Sagota Gold, Sagota Lager, Sagota Pure, Sagota Premium, and Sagota Alcohol-Free; non-alcoholic and malt-based beverages, including Malty-branded barley malt extract drinks and packaged purified drinking water; original equipment manufacturing (OEM), contract brewing, canning, and bottling services for major national beer brands, including Bia Saigon (Saigon Special, Saigon Export, and Saigon Lager) and 333 Beer; and agricultural by-products, including processed spent grains and brewer's yeast utilized in animal feed production. Saigon Binh Tay Beer Group operates a network of five modern brewing and packaging facilities situated across Binh Duong, Dong Thap, Ha Nam, Ninh Thuan, and Ho Chi Minh City, delivering an aggregate production capacity of approximately 510 million liters per year, supported by commercial distribution through its subsidiary Saigon Binh Tay Beer Trading Company Limited. In recent corporate developments, Saigon Beer-Alcohol-Beverage Corporation (SABECO), majority-owned by Thai Beverage PLC, completed a public tender offer in late 2024 and early 2025 to increase its equity interest to a controlling 59.6% stake, officially converting Saigon Binh Tay Beer Group into a consolidated subsidiary. Under this integration, the company has aligned its manufacturing operations with SABECO's nationwide production grid, securing expanded production quotas for flagship national brands, improving brewery utilization rates, and achieving an operational turnaround. Previously, the company completed the public listing of its shares on the Hanoi Stock Exchange's Unlisted Public Company Market (UPCoM) under the ticker symbol SBB.
