Geographically, VIWACO focuses its operational footprint within the southwestern districts of Hanoi, including Thanh Xuan, Nam Tu Liem, Cau Giay, Hoang Mai, and Thanh Tri. In recent operational and corporate developments, VIWACO has adapted to multi-phase municipal retail water tariff revisions enacted by the Hanoi People's Committee, alongside upstream wholesale tariff adjustments designed to support the Song Da Phase II capacity expansion to 600,000 cubic meters per day.
