Vanguard ESG U.S. Corporate Bond ETF (VCEB) is an exchange-traded fund that seeks to track the performance of the Bloomberg MSCI U.S. Corporate SRI Select Index, providing investors with exposure to U.S. dollar-denominated, investment-grade, fixed-rate, taxable corporate bonds that meet specific environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria. The fund's portfolio includes corporate bonds issued by companies screened by MSCI to exclude those involved in activities such as adult entertainment, alcohol, tobacco, conventional weapons, civilian firearms, gambling, nuclear power, and fossil fuels, or deriving significant revenue from these sectors; it focuses on bonds with maturities greater than one year and outstanding amounts of at least $750 million. Launched in September 2020 by The Vanguard Group, Inc., headquartered in Malvern, Pennsylvania, VCEB operates primarily in the U.S. fixed-income market, targeting institutional and retail investors seeking sustainable bond exposure with a low expense ratio of 0.12%. The ETF maintains assets under management approaching $900 million and delivers monthly distributions, with a recent declaration of $0.2542 per share on December 17, 2025, reflecting a 30-day SEC yield of 4.68% as of December 15, 2025. No major acquisitions, partnerships, funding rounds, or strategic shifts specific to VCEB have been reported in the last 1-2 years; however, Vanguard has continued expanding its broader fixed-income and ESG offerings, including new municipal bond ETFs in 2024 and 2025, such as Vanguard Core Tax-Exempt Bond ETF (VCRM) and Vanguard Long-Term Tax-Exempt Bond ETF (VTEL).
