- Voltamp Transformers Limited manufactures a wide range of energy-efficient transformers and related electrical equipment for power utilities, industrial applications, and infrastructure projects primarily in India. The company produces oil-filled power and distribution transformers up to 120 MVA in 11 kV to 220 kV voltage class; dry-type transformers up to 10 MVA in 3.3 kV to 33 kV voltage class including vacuum pressure impregnated and cast resin variants with technology from HTT Germany; compact substations up to 2.5 MVA in 33 kV class; ring main units at 12 kV 630 amps; and offers comprehensive services including maintenance, testing, repairs, overhaul, spares, and asset management through its pan-India service business unit. Voltamp serves diverse sectors such as power, steel, cement, oil and gas, chemicals, petrochemicals, data centers, and green energy, supplying to PSUs, MNCs, EPC firms like Larsen & Toubro and Siemens, and state electricity boards with over 70,000 installations. Incorporated in 1967 in Vadodara, Gujarat, following the 1963 founding of predecessor Voltamp Corporation, the company operates four manufacturing facilities in the state with total installed capacity of 14,000 MVA and holds ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015, and 45001:2018 accreditations along with NABL-accredited testing labs. Recent developments include securing a Rs 149 crore order from Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation in October 2025 for power transformers; amassing new orders worth Rs 1,377 crore since April 2025 with an opening order book of Rs 938 crore as of late 2025; and progressing construction of a new greenfield power transformer facility near Vadodara with 6,000 MVA initial capacity for up to 250 MVA 220 kV units, funded by Rs 200 crore internal accruals and slated for completion by mid-2026.
