Western Yilgarn NL (ASX:WYX) is an Australia-based mineral exploration company focused on early-stage evaluation and development of prospective projects in Western Australia's premier mining jurisdictions. The company explores for nickel, copper, cobalt, platinum group elements (PGE), gold, lithium and bauxite; its key projects include the Julimar West Bauxite Project covering 349 square kilometers in the Darling Ranges approximately 75 kilometers northeast of Perth; the Ida Holmes Junction Project located 50 kilometers southwest of Gold Fields' Agnew Gold Project at the intersection of the Holmes Dyke and Mt Ida Fault; PGE projects encompassing Mount Magnet (Boodanoo E59/2496 and Challa E58/562), Sylvania (E52/3861 over 138 square kilometers), Bulga (E36/1010, E36/1011 and E36/1025 application over 118 square kilometers) and Melbourne (E70/5767 and E70/5921) primarily in the Eastern Goldfields and Pilbara regions. Founded in 2005 and headquartered in West Perth, Western Australia, Western Yilgarn targets critical metals for green energy applications and serves mining industry stakeholders through its diversified portfolio of exploration licenses. Recent activities include issuances of shares and options to director Athanasio Traicos in June 2024 via placements totaling A$23,750 and progressing advancements at the Julimar West Bauxite Project as highlighted in investor presentations through 2025.
