Business
Zenith Fibres Limited manufactures and exports polypropylene staple fibers (PPSF) primarily serving the manmade fiber industry. Its core products include polypropylene staple fibers in deniers ranging from 2 to 70 available in natural white, virgin, generic, and dope-dyed colors with specialized additives and masterbatches such as UV resistant, flame retardant/fire resistant (halogen-free or brominated), and silver-based antimicrobial options. The company also produces 100% polypropylene spun yarns of various English counts used for weaving filter fabrics and PP Dref-2 yarn utilized mainly in filtration candle manufacturing. Zenith operates through its manufacturing base in Vadodara, India, with an installed capacity of 6,000 metric tonnes per annum for PPSF, focusing on tailored melt-spun fibers developed for specific customer manufacturing processes and end applications. Zenith also generates renewable energy through wind turbines, holding a 1500 KW wind turbine generator capacity. Founded in 1989 and headquartered in Vadodara, the company held a dominant position with 100% market share in polypropylene staple fibers in India for over two decades and has expanded globally with exports worldwide. Zenith Fibres is ISO 9001:2015 certified and emphasizes continuous innovation, quality control, and environmental sustainability initiatives. In recent developments within the last 1-2 years, Zenith Fibres has engaged in strategic divestments such as the sale of a stake in Rainy Properties Pvt Ltd to Transglobal Trade Integration Private Limited for INR 2.7 crore and maintained a focus on operational excellence and growth as reflected in its steady financial performance, including an over 50% year-on-year increase in net sales reported in late 2024. The company continues to enhance product offerings and pursues quality-driven production technologies to meet evolving market demands and regulatory standards. Zenith Fibres operates primarily in the manmade fibers and industrial filtration textiles sector, serving diverse end markets including textile manufacturing, battery separators, high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filtration, and other technical fiber applications. It also contributes to sustainable energy generation and environmental responsibility via its wind power operations. The company’s strategic direction exhibits a blend of product innovation, market expansion, and environmental stewardship. Zenith Fibres Limited is listed on BSE with ticker ZENIFIB.BO and remains a key player in the Indian polypropylene staple fiber industry with an increasing footprint in international markets. Its leadership and governance continue to reflect stable oversight under the executive chairman and board of directors headquartered in Vadodara, Gujarat, India.
