Innovator Equity Defined Protection ETF – 1 Yr June is an actively managed exchange-traded fund series of Innovator ETFs Trust that seeks to provide investors with participation in the price return of the SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust, up to a stated annual upside cap, while providing a 100% downside buffer over a defined approximately one-year outcome period, before fees and expenses. The Fund invests at least 80% of net assets, plus borrowings for investment purposes, in instruments providing exposure to the underlying S&P 500 ETF and principally uses exchange-traded FLEX Options to construct its defined-outcome exposure. Its products and services consist of publicly traded ETF shares offering capped S&P 500 equity-market appreciation potential; annual defined-protection outcome periods; a stated 100% downside buffer applicable over the full outcome period; exposure to large-cap U.S. equities through the underlying ETF; and portfolio implementation through customized flexible exchange options. The Fund is non-diversified and is designed for investors seeking equity-market-linked returns with predetermined downside protection and a limited upside profile rather than direct, uncapped exposure to the S&P 500.
Trading on Cboe BZX under the ticker ZJUN, the Fund was listed on June 2, 2025, carries a 0.79% expense ratio, and rebalances annually. The current June outcome period runs from June 1, 2026 through May 31, 2027, with a starting upside cap of 8.06% and a 100% starting buffer, subject to the Fund’s terms, fees, expenses, option-market conditions, and the investor’s purchase and sale timing. Innovator Capital Management LLC serves as investment adviser and Milliman Financial Risk Management LLC serves as sub-adviser; the Fund is domiciled in the United States and managed from Innovator’s Wheaton, Illinois headquarters. The Fund’s principal recent operational development is its annual reset into the June 2026–May 2027 outcome period, which established the new 8.06% upside cap and renewed 100% downside-buffer structure; it also continued its expansion as part of Innovator’s one-year defined-protection ETF lineup following its 2025 market launch.
