Business
ZhongDe Waste Technology AG ZhongDe Waste Technology AG is a Germany-based company that designs, finances, constructs, operates, and manufactures energy-from-waste plants generating electricity from solid municipal, medical, and industrial waste, including hazardous materials; it provides engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services for incineration facilities using grate, fluidized bed, pyrolytic, and rotary kiln technologies, as well as build-operate-transfer (BOT) projects where it invests in and manages plant operations; additionally, it produces mass burn units and related environmental equipment. The company, founded in 1996 and headquartered in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, with operating headquarters in Beijing, China, and a production facility in Fuzhou, China, primarily serves operators of medical disposal centers, hospitals, healthcare facilities, and small- to mid-sized cities across 13 provinces in mainland China. In September 2024, ZhongDe Waste Technology AG reached an amendment agreement with Capital Yield Group Limited for an equivalent exchange between the equity of King Trade Group Ltd. and the remaining balance of the share purchase price for Chung Hua Group, following earlier divestitures such as the 2016 sale of its stake in Chung Hua Environment Protection (Holding) Group Ltd. and a downlisting from the Prime Standard to the General Standard of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange regulated market.
