(000402.SZ) engages primarily in real estate development and operations across China, developing and leasing commercial properties including business and boutique business complexes, office buildings, and hotels; characteristic town properties such as tourist areas; and residential properties comprising villas and condominiums, while also providing property management, real estate brokerage, housing and venue rental, tourism development and management, catering and accommodation services, and ancillary activities like technology development, health and enterprise management, financing, cultural communication, yacht and boat club operations, driver training services, and consulting in investments, real estate information, technical, enterprise management, business, conference, auto mechanic, sports, and fitness sectors. Founded in 1992 and headquartered at Building D, Financial Street Apartment, No. 7 Jinchengfang Street, Xicheng District, Beijing, China, the company, formerly known as Chongqing Huaya Modern Paper Industry Co., Ltd. until its name change in August 2000, operates mainly in key urban areas with a focus on high-end commercial real estate and has affiliations with Beijing Financial Street Investment (Group) Co., Ltd. for certain property management projects. In recent developments, Financial Street Holdings announced plans in 2025 to issue up to 5.2 billion yuan in bonds and up to 5.17 billion yuan in privately placed company bonds to support financing needs; progressed on external financial support provisions and subsidiary share acquisitions and sales; established a new commercial management company in Suzhou to expand operations; released its 2025 third quarter and semi-annual reports indicating ongoing destocking in development business alongside stable operating revenue, with a reported net loss reduction in the first half of 2025; and managed interest payments on multiple medium-term notes and corporate bonds including the 2023 Seventh and Eighth series due in 2025 as well as 23 Golden Street 11.
