Wuxi Double Elephant Micro Fibre Material Co.,Ltd Wuxi Double Elephant Micro Fibre Material Co.,Ltd (002395.SZ), founded in 2002 and headquartered in Xinwu District, Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province, China, operates as a high-tech enterprise specializing in the research, development, production, and sale of microfiber synthetic leather and related materials; the company, affiliated with Jiangsu Double Elephant Group and listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in April 2010, maintains four wholly-owned subsidiaries including Chongqing Double Elephant Micro Fibre Material Co.,Ltd., Suzhou Double Elephant Optical Materials Co.,Ltd., Chongqing Double Elephant Optical Materials Co.,Ltd., and Wuxi Double Elephant Optoelectronic Materials Co.,Ltd. Its core products encompass microfiber leather variants such as waterborne/solvent-free microfiber leather, bio-based microfiber leather, GRS microfiber leather, microfiber automotive interior leather, microfiber sofa leather, microfiber shoe leather, microfiber luggage and bags leather, ball and sports equipment leather, and microfiber suede/base leather; PU synthetic leather including waterborne/solvent-free PU leather and PU ball leather; polyurethane resin with an annual capacity of 45,000 tons; PMMA optical materials and sheets with 100,000 tons capacity; PVC artificial leather; and PVC transparent films, serving applications in automotive interior decoration, sofas and furniture, bags and handbags, functional footwear, sporting goods, clothing, electronic packaging, and interior decoration across domestic markets and more than 50 countries including Europe and the United States. The company holds annual production capacities of 30 million meters for microfiber leather and PU synthetic leather, plus 30,000 tons/year for hazardous waste disposal covering categories like medical waste, pesticides, and organic solvents; it has undertaken over 30 national and industry standards and completed key projects such as the National 863 Plan for microfiber leather technology. Recent developments include the completion and operational start of the phase II microfiber materials project at its Chongqing production base in 2025, following the phase I project's launch in April 2022 which earned recognition as a Chongqing Digital Workshop; establishment of the Chongqing subsidiary in 2019 as a major government investment project emphasizing intelligent manufacturing and environmental standards; and ongoing expansions in PMMA optical materials and hazardous waste management capabilities.
