Business
TT Vision Holdings Berhad is a Malaysia-based investment holding company principally engaged in the development, manufacturing, and sale of automated machine vision equipment and related products and services. The company's core product portfolio includes semiconductor and LED inspection solutions such as wafer, wirebond, and substrate package automated optical inspection (AOI) machines; solar inspection, test, and sorting products including WINS solar wafer inspection machines, IBC and Quad solar cell sorters; vision-guided robotic equipment; and proprietary software for equipment usage training and system upgrades. TT Vision's equipment primarily serves manufacturers in the semiconductor industry, inspecting components such as optoelectronics (LEDs), solar wafers and cells, discrete components, and integrated circuits (ICs). The company operates globally with markets and exports spanning Malaysia, China, South Korea, the Philippines, Germany, the United States, Singapore, Thailand, Japan, and Hong Kong. Founded in 2001 and headquartered in Penang, Malaysia, the group was co-founded by key executives including CEO Goon Koon Yin. A significant recent development for TT Vision Holdings includes a strategic expansion via a conditional lease agreement signed in July 2025 with Penang Development Corporation for a 60-year lease of a 14,569 square meter industrial plot in Bayan Lepas Industrial Park. This lease supports the construction of a new manufacturing facility dedicated to producing equipment for the semiconductor, solar, and battery industries, which is expected to generate new revenue streams and create employment opportunities in Penang. Additionally, the company secured a major purchase order valued at RM 23.6 million from a large solar cell manufacturer, reinforcing its market presence in solar inspection solutions. TT Vision continues to invest in technological advancements and innovation to maintain its competitive edge in high-speed, high-accuracy vision inspection systems and robotic solutions tailored to evolving industry needs.
