LG Display Co., Ltd. manufactures and supplies thin-film transistor liquid crystal display (TFT-LCD) panels, organic light-emitting diode (OLED) displays, and flexible displays for a range of applications including televisions, IT products, mobile devices, commercial signage, and automotive systems. The company produces large OLED television panels from 42 to 97 inches utilizing WOLED technology supplied to customers such as LG Electronics, Sony, Panasonic, and Philips; IT display panels for notebook computers (12-18 inches), desktop monitors (15.6-49 inches), and tablets (7.85-12.9 inches); flexible AMOLED panels branded as pOLED for smartphones, wearables, and tablets including supplies to Apple; automotive OLED displays; transparent OLEDs; and emerging technologies such as 8K OLED, LTPO OLED for IT devices, and OLED microdisplays. LG Display operates manufacturing facilities in South Korea (Gumi and Paju), China (Nanjing and Guangzhou), Poland (Wroclaw), Mexico, and Vietnam; maintains sales offices targeting key markets in China, Europe, and North America; and employs 60,729 people as of December 31, 2024, from its headquarters at LG Twin Towers, 128 Yeoui-daero, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, South Korea, where it traces origins to TFT-LCD development in 1987.
