Great Wall Enterprise Co., Ltd. (1210.TW) manufactures and sells agriculture and grain, meat, and processed food products primarily in Taiwan, China, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Cambodia. The company operates through six segments including Grain, Meat, Food, Catering and Shopping Malls, Southeast Asia, and East Asia; it produces livestock feeds for chicken, duck, pigs, cattle, sheep, and fish; vegetable oil seeds, dried coconut rice bran, vegetable oils and by-products, grains, fertilizers, feeds, bran, soybean cakes, flour, and pulp powder; corn flour, noodles, instant noodles, rice flour, biscuits, bread, canned food, dairy and ice products, juices, and beverages; seedlings, livestock, wheat, frozen prepared and refrigerated foods, chicken, deli foods, pastries, and health products; liquid eggs, egg powder, tofu, braised eggs, iron eggs, salted fish, egg roll sheets, poached eggs, and meat substitutes; brands such as DaChan Great Wall for poultry and eggs, Holy Chicken, GOMO PET FOOD, and 雞本享受 for processed chicken; it also slaughters poultry, processes meat, distributes western medicines, agricultural products, non-alcoholic beverages, and animal medicine; operates supermarkets, restaurants, a hotel, and bakeries; sources, manufactures, and sews packaging supplies including metal, alloy, plastic, paper, cloth, wooden cans, barrels, boxes, and bags; builds, sells, and leases residential and commercial buildings; provides warehousing, food, feed, pet food, grain, and oilseed distribution; engages in livestock farming, recreational agriculture, catering, research and consulting, marketing planning, operations management, fast-food services; trades in aquaculture and commodities; constructs and leases poultry farms; breeds animals; and hatches poultry, supplying products to convenience stores, fresh food manufacturers, fast food channels, breakfast and restaurant chains, group caterers, and supermarkets. Founded in 1957 and headquartered in Tainan City, Taiwan, the company, through its DaChan Great Wall Group, maintains vertically integrated systems in poultry, layer, hog, and aquaculture covering breeding, propagation, feed production, slaughtering, and processing; it continues to expand its oil and flour business units, F&B sector, realty management, and operates over 100 subsidiaries across its major markets.
