Business
Shanghai Yahong Moulding Co., Ltd. (603159.SS) engages primarily in the research, design, manufacture, and distribution of precision plastic moulds and related plastic products for intelligent control applications. Founded in April 1997 and headquartered in Fengxian District, Shanghai, China, the company operates through four main business segments: industrial mould products; injection moulded products; surface mount technology (SMT) and PCBA products; and intelligent toilet covers, with core offerings encompassing precision injection moulds, injection moulding, surface coating, assembly processing, painting, and SMT production for automobile electronics, smart household appliances, three-proof micro-control systems, microelectronics, high-end microwave ovens, middle-to-high-end passenger vehicle dashboards, and driving seats. It maintains strategic partnerships with leading firms including Panasonic Shanghai, Yanfeng Visteon, Yanfeng Seat, Shanghai Estra-Automobile, Continental Motor, and Omron Shanghai, serving automobile manufacturers and household appliance producers primarily in the domestic Chinese market with exports to overseas regions. In a key historical expansion, the company acquired Musheng Industry in 2008 to integrate PCBA-SMT production lines and rebranded to its current name in September 2012; more recently, its controlling shareholder advanced a shareholding increase plan as announced in early 2024, while shareholders holding over 5% shares disclosed a planned reduction in March 2025, alongside routine performance updates including the 2024 semi-annual and full-year reports plus the 2025 first-quarter and nine-month earnings releases.
