(NASDAQ: ACBI) is a bank holding company for Atlantic Capital Bank, N.A., which provides commercial banking products and services to small- and medium-sized businesses, commercial enterprises, franchisees, not-for-profit organizations, commercial real estate developers, professional services firms, and individual clients primarily in metropolitan Atlanta, Georgia; Cobb County, Fulton County, and Athens-Clarke County, Georgia; and Hamilton County, Tennessee. The company offers non-interest- and interest-bearing demand deposits, savings and money market accounts, time deposits, and brokered deposits; working capital and equipment loans, owner-occupied real estate loans, revolving lines of credit, term loans, letters of credit, secured installments, home equity lines of credit, commercial real estate loans including construction and mini-permanent loans, small business administration loans, and franchise finance loans; as well as cash and treasury management, capital markets, payment processing, commercial and not-for-profit banking, payroll, electronic payments, online banking, and mobile banking services. Founded in 2006 and headquartered at 945 East Paces Ferry Road in Atlanta, Georgia, the company was acquired by SouthState Corporation in a $542 million all-stock transaction completed on March 1, 2022, with Atlantic Capital Bank merging into SouthState Bank, N.A., thereby enhancing SouthState's Atlanta market presence to approximately $5 billion in deposits and eighth-largest market share among banks under $100 billion in assets; post-merger, key Atlantic Capital executives including former CEO Douglas L. Williams continue to lead corporate banking efforts in Atlanta, focusing on fintech, payments, and banking-as-a-service capabilities.
