Founded in 2013 and headquartered in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, the company operates as a key subsidiary of International Holding Company PJSC (IHC). Alpha Dhabi Holding structures its commercial operations across eight primary business segments: Real Estate, Construction, Industrial, Energy, Healthcare, Hospitality, Climate Capital, and Investments.
The Real Estate segment engages in residential, commercial, retail, and mixed-use property development, master planning, asset management, and property leasing through its subsidiary Aldar Properties PJSC; the Construction segment provides general contracting, civil engineering, high-rise building construction, infrastructure development, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) services, and precast concrete engineering primarily through Trojan Construction Group; the Industrial segment delivers engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) solutions, heavy civil marine contracting, offshore engineering, dredging, and land reclamation services through NMDC Group; the Energy segment provides oilfield services, specialized drilling technology, downhole measurement-while-drilling (MWD) tools, wellbore video diagnostics, precision manufacturing, and field maintenance solutions through Murban Energy and Enersol; the Healthcare segment offers comprehensive hospital operations, clinical laboratories, emergency medical services, diagnostic imaging, and healthcare distribution through strategic holdings in PureHealth Holding and Response Plus Holding PJSC; the Hospitality segment owns, develops, and operates luxury hotels, island resorts, and lifestyle food and beverage destinations, including The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, Al Wathba Desert Resort & Spa, Cheval Blanc Randheli, Cheval Blanc Seychelles, and Nammos Group venues, primarily managed via its majority ownership in National Corporation for Tourism and Hotels (NCTH); the Climate Capital segment focuses on decarbonization investments, renewable energy infrastructure, waste-to-energy projects, and environmental sustainability initiatives; and the Investments segment manages a diversified portfolio of public equities, private equity assets, direct lending vehicles, and proprietary capital allocations across regional and international markets. The company serves institutional, governmental, commercial, and retail clients across the United Arab Emirates, the Middle East and North Africa region, Europe, North America, and the Asia-Pacific region.
In recent corporate developments, Alpha Dhabi Holding has accelerated its strategic expansion through major acquisitions, joint ventures, and capital reorganizations across its high-growth verticals. Through Enersol, its energy technology joint venture with ADNOC Drilling, the company acquired controlling and strategic stakes in Gordon Technologies, Deep Well Services (DWS), EV Holdings Ltd., and NTS Amega Global to establish an integrated global oilfield technology and energy services platform. In private credit and global investments, Alpha Dhabi expanded its joint venture platform with Mubadala Capital (MICAD Credit), doubling its total capital commitment to US$1 billion and acquiring a diversified European direct lending portfolio previously managed by Apollo Global Management. The company also entered into a strategic collaboration agreement with TA'ZIZ to participate in a US$10 billion chemicals investment in the UAE, while contributing retail assets to the Gaia Retail Partners joint venture alongside Mubadala. Furthermore, Alpha Dhabi consolidated its luxury hospitality assets into the National Corporation for Tourism and Hotels (NCTH), elevating its equity holding to approximately 73.73%, acquired an additional 9.77% stake in NMDC Group to raise its majority ownership to 76.68%, and completed the strategic divestment of its 8.50% stake in Modon Holding for AED 5.3 billion to optimize portfolio liquidity and reallocate capital into high-yield strategic sectors.
