Aeva Technologies, Inc. (AEVAW) designs, develops, manufactures, and sells LiDAR sensing systems and related perception and autonomy-enabling software solutions using proprietary frequency modulated continuous wave (FMCW) sensing technology that simultaneously detects velocity and range. The company offers Aeries II, a 4D LiDAR solution consisting of a sensing system with embedded software for automotive-grade production in passenger cars, trucking, and mobility applications; Atlas, an FMCW 4D LiDAR sensor for mass production meeting automotive-grade requirements; Atlas Ultra, a slim, high-resolution 4D LiDAR sensor for SAE Level 3 and 4 automated driving systems in passenger and commercial vehicles; and Eve 1, a high-precision laser speed sensor line including Eve 1D and Eve 1V for factory automation, non-contact motion sensing, and industrial applications. Its products serve automotive, industrial automation, consumer devices, security, robotics, and smart infrastructure markets, with customers and partners including Daimler Truck, SICK AG, LMI Technologies, Nikon, ZF, Denso, LG Innotek, Bendix, Torc Robotics, May Mobility, Railergy, and D2 Traffic Technologies; Aeva operates in North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and additional locations including Germany, India, China, and Thailand. Founded in 2017 and headquartered at 555 Ellis Street in Mountain View, California, the company generates revenue through hardware sales, software licensing, and long-term development partnerships.
