Business
Andes Gold Corporation (AGCZ) engages in the development and production of gold assets in South America, primarily through exploration, mining, and extraction of precious metals with a focus on gold and silver. The company operates the Miranda Alto gold mining and exploration concession located in the cantons of Zaruma and Portovelo, province of El Oro, southern Ecuador, via its subsidiary Compania Minera Pl. S.A.; it produces gold and silver from this property while also pursuing commercial activities in gold, silver, and copper minerals through business partnerships and consulting agreements. Incorporated in 2007 and headquartered in Boca Raton, Florida, at 1200 North Federal Highway, Suite 200, the company targets mining operators and investors in the precious metals sector across Ecuador and broader South American regions. Formerly known as Princeton Consulting and Services Corp., Andes Gold Corporation changed its name in July 2009 and was previously a subsidiary of New World Gold Corporation; no major acquisitions, funding rounds, partnerships, or new product launches have been reported in the last 1-2 years, with operations centered on its existing Ecuadorian asset amid ongoing market presence on OTC markets.
