IQ Enhanced Core Plus Bond U.S. ETF (AGGP) is an exchange-traded fund that seeks to track the price and yield performance of the IQ Enhanced Core Plus Bond U.S. Index. Launched in May 2016 by IndexIQ Advisors LLC, the ETF operates as a fund of funds, investing at least 80% of its net assets in underlying exchange-traded products that provide exposure to U.S. Treasurys; U.S. investment grade corporate bonds; U.S. investment grade mortgage-backed securities; up to 25% in U.S. high yield debt; and up to 5% in U.S. dollar-denominated debt of emerging market issuers. The fund targets investors seeking enhanced core fixed income returns through momentum-based screening within the broad U.S. bond market, spanning investment grade and select higher-yield segments.
The ETF was issued and managed by IndexIQ Advisors LLC, based in New York, with operations focused on the U.S. market through NYSE Arca listing. In December 2020, IndexIQ announced the liquidation of AGGP, with trading ceasing on February 4, 2021, marking a significant operational change as part of a broader ETF lineup restructuring. No subsequent relaunches, acquisitions, partnerships, or funding rounds involving AGGP have been reported, reflecting its terminated status amid evolving fixed income ETF strategies by the sponsor.
