In 2025, the company completed the $1.25 billion sale of its Group Health business to Nationwide, generating a book gain of approximately $500 million as part of its capital management strategy, following the earlier divestiture of its Employer Voluntary Benefits business to The Standard and ongoing portfolio optimization efforts.
