A subsidiary of ATN International Inc. since its acquisition in July 2021 for approximately $343 million, Alaska Communications recently secures a five-year $390 million senior secured credit facility in 2024 from Bank of America and Fifth Third Bank to repay existing debt and expand statewide fiber infrastructure, enhancing connectivity in underserved areas and supporting economic growth.
