- Aris Mining Corporation, a Vancouver-based gold mining company founded in September 2022, engages in the acquisition, exploration, development and operation of gold properties primarily in Colombia, Guyana and Canada. The company operates the Segovia Operations, comprising four underground mines in a historic high-grade district in Colombia producing gold doré bars; and the Marmato Complex, including the small-scale Upper Mine with a 1,000 tonnes per day processing facility and the under-construction Bulk Mining Zone Lower Mine designed for 5,000 tonnes per day throughput following a 25% capacity expansion announced in early 2025. It holds 100% ownership of the Toroparu gold-copper project in Guyana, where a positive Preliminary Economic Assessment was released in 2025 alongside an ongoing Prefeasibility Study; and full ownership of the Soto Norte gold-copper-silver project in Colombia following the acquisition of the remaining 49% interest from MDC Industry in late 2025 for US$80 million in cash and shares. Aris Mining produced 210,955 ounces of gold from Segovia and Marmato in 2024 and targets over 500,000 ounces annually post expansions, with Segovia's second mill commissioned on time in June 2025 and Marmato Lower Mine first gold expected in H2 2026; recent developments include completion of the Juby gold project sale in Canada, a long-term security and sustainability agreement with the Colombian government ending ICSID arbitration, joining the S&P/TSX Composite Index, and a US$450 million senior notes offering to refinance debt. The company, formerly GCM Mining Corp., trades on the TSX (ARIS) and NYSE American (ARMN), with headquarters at 550 Burrard Street in Vancouver, British Columbia.
