Arise AB (publ) (ARISE.ST) is a Sweden-based independent renewable energy company that develops, constructs, sells, and manages onshore wind, solar, and battery storage projects. The company operates through three main segments: Development, which encompasses project development, construction, and sales of renewable electricity production assets including wind farms, solar parks, and battery energy storage systems; Production, focused on the generation and sale of electricity and electricity certificates from its owned portfolio of approximately 172 MW across 11 wind farms in southern Sweden; and Solutions, providing third-party services such as operation and maintenance, technical management, commercial optimization, hedging, environmental reporting, financial management, and administration for renewable assets. Arise manages a diversified project pipeline and third-party assets totaling around 2,600 MW of wind capacity, with geographic operations spanning Sweden, Norway, Finland, and the United Kingdom; it was founded in 1986, renamed from Arise Windpower AB in June 2013, and is headquartered in Halmstad, Sweden. Recent developments include the sale of the 125 MW Pysäysperä battery storage project in Finland--the largest in the Nordics to date--to Alpiq AG for MEUR 6.7 in May 2025, receipt of the second installment for the 40 MW Pajkölen battery project sold to Flower Infrastructure Technologies with grid connection completed in April 2025, successful takeover and earnout exceeding MEUR 30 for the Kölvallen wind farm, a major Nordic asset management agreement for a 350 MW/94-turbine wind portfolio co-owned by Energy Infrastructure Partners and Fortum, and in November 2025, a recommended cash takeover bid from Aneo BidCo at SEK 45 per share valuing the company at SEK 1.8 billion, unanimously endorsed by Arise's independent bid committee with major shareholders committing to tender.
