ARK DIET Q3 Buffer ETF is an actively managed exchange-traded fund launched by ARK ETF Trust and advised by ARK Investment Management LLC, headquartered in St. Petersburg, Florida. The Fund seeks capital appreciation with a measure of downside protection by providing a defined-risk-return exposure to the ARK Innovation ETF (ARKK), ARK’s actively managed disruptive-innovation equity ETF. ARKE invests substantially all of its assets in ARKK and uses exchange-traded Flexible Exchange Options (FLEX Options), including written at-the-money call options, purchased at-the-money put options and purchased out-of-the-money call options, to establish its targeted outcome profile. For each rolling 12-month outcome period running from July 1 through June 30, the Fund seeks, before fees and expenses, to participate in approximately 50% of declines in ARKK’s share price while participating at a defined rate in ARKK gains above a 5% hurdle; the precise upside participation rate is determined at the beginning of each outcome period based on prevailing option-market conditions. The Fund’s strategy is designed primarily for investors holding shares from the beginning through the end of an outcome period; outcomes for shares purchased or sold during the period may differ materially from the stated targets. ARKE indirectly provides exposure to ARKK’s portfolio of U.S. and foreign companies associated with disruptive innovation, including public blockchains, artificial intelligence, multiomic sequencing, energy storage and robotics, as well as innovations in automation, manufacturing, transportation, energy, financial technology and materials. The Fund is listed on Cboe BZX Exchange under the ticker ARKE and is distributed by Foreside Fund Services LLC. ARKE was introduced on July 1, 2026, as the quarterly-reset Q3 offering in ARK Invest’s Defined Innovation Exposure Term, or DIET, Buffer ETF suite, joining the Q1, Q2 and Q4 DIET ETFs and expanding ARK’s product range beyond direct innovation-equity exposure into outcome-oriented, buffered investment strategies.
