Business
New Age Exploration Limited (ASX:NAE) is an Australian-based minerals exploration and development company focused on gold and lithium projects in Western Australia and New Zealand. Founded in 1968 and headquartered at Level 2, 480 Collins Street, Melbourne, the company 100% owns a large tenement package of approximately 1,893 square kilometers in the Central and Eastern Pilbara districts of Western Australia, prospective for gold and LCT pegmatites including lithium, caesium and tantalum; its key projects comprise the Wagyu Gold Project adjoining De Grey Mining's Hemi and Withnell deposits, Pilbara Gold and Lithium Projects; in New Zealand, it holds the 265 square kilometer Lammerlaw Prospecting Permit in the Lammerlaw Ranges prospective for Macraes-style shear-hosted gold, Otago Pioneer Quartz (OPQ) Exploration Project on Exploration Permit 60502 in the Central Otago Schist Belt, and Marlborough Prospecting Permit 60725.01 covering 499 square kilometers in the Marlborough Schist Belt. The company targets high-grade gold and associated minerals for junior miners and institutional investors in Tier 1 mining jurisdictions. In October 2025, New Age Exploration secures AU$3.75 million through a strongly supported placement of new shares at a discount, backed by existing shareholders and new high-net-worth and institutional investors to fund accelerated drilling programs including a 4,000 metre reverse circulation campaign at Wagyu targeting Hemi-style quartz diorite intrusives and depth/strike extensions, alongside follow-up drilling at Lammerlaw to test strike continuations and high-grade shoots analogous to the Macraes gold-shear system.
