Nex Metals Explorations Limited (ASX:NME) is an Australia-based mineral exploration company focused on gold, copper and nickel deposits in Western Australia. Incorporated in 2007 and headquartered in Osborne Park, Perth, the company holds interests in the Kookynie Gold Project located 180 kilometres north of Kalgoorlie; the Yundamindra Gold Project situated 65 kilometres southeast of Leonora; and the Kookynie Tailings Research Project within the Cosmopolitan tenement, targeting reprocessing of historical tailings for gold recovery. It conducts extensive drilling programs, rock chip sampling and geophysical surveys to delineate high-grade gold intercepts, quartz reef structures and new mineralised targets across these projects, with recent assays reporting thick high-grade zones such as multiple strong results at Landed at Last and Pennyweight Point. In August 2025, Nex Metals signed an Empowerment Production Sharing Agreement with the Western Australian Tourism and Cultural Trust on the Kookynie Tailings project to advance processing initiatives. The company entered the Egyptian market in September 2025 through a binding heads of agreement for the North Hennai gold project in the Eastern Desert, funding 100% of development for a 44% stake alongside local partners Golden Eagle and Shalateen Mineral Resources Company; it plans accelerated exploration including trenching and drilling to define resources and improve metallurgical recovery. Additional recent developments include a director appointment in July 2025, ongoing capital raisings, and expanded drilling campaigns at Yundamindra and Kookynie through late 2025, tripling mineralised strike lengths and identifying exceptional new gold targets at Yundumindra South.
