Business
Azteca Gold Corp. (AZGFF) is a development-stage junior mining company focused on the acquisition, exploration, and development of gold and silver properties in the United States and Mexico. The company holds interests in several key assets, including the Marietta property with 156 patented and unpatented claims in Mineral County, Nevada; the Two Mile property comprising 725 unpatented claims and one patented claim covering approximately 15,000 acres in Idaho; the Geroe Creek property with 25 unpatented claims spanning 4,000 acres in Alaska; the Orange property consisting of 147 claims over 3,037 acres in Idaho; and the Tres de Mayo concession in Chihuahua, Mexico. Founded in 1957 and formerly known as Hansa Corporation until its name change in December 2006, Azteca Gold maintains headquarters in Spokane, Washington, with operations targeting precious metals deposits primarily in North America. No major acquisitions, partnerships, funding rounds, or strategic shifts have been reported for the company in the last 1-2 years, reflecting its current status as a non-producing exploration entity with minimal recent activity.
