Business
Banco ABC Brasil S.A., operating as a multifaceted financial institution, delivers a comprehensive array of banking solutions to large and medium-sized enterprises across Brazil. The bank offers a diverse suite of lending and credit options, including both foreign and local currency loans, working capital, agribusiness and real estate financing, alongside BNDES credit lines and revolving facilities. It provides essential treasury management, derivative instruments, and foreign trade services, facilitating international transactions and currency risk management. For corporate clients, Banco ABC Brasil extends investment banking capabilities encompassing advisory services for mergers, acquisitions, and corporate restructurings, in addition to capital market operations for public offerings, fixed income products, debentures, and structured notes. Clients also benefit from current accounts, various deposit products, guarantees, and digital banking platforms. The institution further engages in energy trading, leveraging its balance sheet to finance free market energy purchases. Tracing its origins to 1983, the bank began operations in 1989 as Banco ABC Roma S.A., a joint venture. It adopted its current name, Banco ABC Brasil S.A., in 1997 after Arab Banking Corporation acquired controlling interest, which remains its indirect parent company based in Bahrain. Headquartered in São Paulo, Brazil, the bank also maintains an overseas branch in the Cayman Islands. Recent strategic efforts include significant investments in digital transformation and enhanced data management to continuously improve operational efficiency and client service. The bank reported a net income of R$256.8 million for the third quarter of 2025.
