Global X Cybersecurity ETF Shs Unsponsored Brazilian Depositary Receipt Repr 0.333333 Sh is an exchange-traded depositary receipt program listed on the B3 (Brasil, Bolsa, Balcão) that provides Latin American investors with direct exposure to the Global X Cybersecurity ETF (NASDAQ: BUG), an exchange-traded fund sponsored and managed by Global X Management Company LLC, a subsidiary of Mirae Asset Global Investments. Each unsponsored BDR represents an undivided interest in 0.333333 (one-third) of a share of the underlying United States-listed ETF, which seeks to track the performance of the Indxx Cybersecurity Index before fees and expenses. The underlying fund invests in companies operating within the cybersecurity and enterprise security software sector that derive a substantial portion of their revenues from the development and deployment of digital security technologies, with systematic portfolio allocations encompassing: network security and next-generation firewall infrastructure; endpoint protection and extended detection and response (EDR/XDR); cloud security posture management and cloud workload protection; identity and access management (IAM) and zero-trust identity verification; security information and event management (SIEM) alongside security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR); secure access service edge (SASE) and software-defined wide area networking (SD-WAN); data encryption and data loss prevention (DLP); threat intelligence, vulnerability assessment, and penetration testing; and managed security services, forensics, and incident response consulting. Geographically, the underlying ETF holds investments across major technology centers, predominantly in the United States, Israel, the United Kingdom, and Japan, while the BDR facilitates local trading in Brazilian Real for institutional and individual investors in Brazil. Global X Management Company LLC was founded in 2008 and is headquartered in New York, New York, with the underlying Global X Cybersecurity ETF launching in October 2019. In recent strategic and operational developments, the underlying fund has adapted its thematic portfolio exposure to capture the rapid industry consolidation into unified cybersecurity platforms and the integration of artificial intelligence-driven automated threat response architectures. Furthermore, the underlying Indxx Cybersecurity Index has executed regular semi-annual reconstitutions and rebalancings to incorporate emerging pure-play cloud security providers while applying rigorous liquidity and float-adjusted market capitalization criteria, and the BDR vehicle continues to maintain streamlined cross-border settlement infrastructure to accommodate rising demand for thematic technology assets across Brazilian capital markets.
