Business
Echeverria Izquierdo SA is a Chile-based engineering, construction, and real estate development company. Founded in 1978 and headquartered in Santiago, Chile, the company operates across South America through four primary business segments: Engineering and Industrial Construction, Special Foundations and Geotechnical Engineering, Building Construction, and Real Estate Development. Through its Engineering and Industrial Construction division, the company provides comprehensive engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services; heavy civil works; electromechanical assembly; piping installation; structural steel fabrication and erection; and industrial plant infrastructure development for the mining, energy, pulp and paper, petrochemical, and manufacturing sectors. The Special Foundations and Geotechnical Engineering segment provides deep foundation engineering; diaphragm walls; bored piles; micropiles; jet grouting; ground anchoring; soil improvement; tunneling; and underpinning services for major civil and infrastructure works. The Building Construction division executes general contracting and construction of commercial office towers, residential high-rises, educational facilities, healthcare institutions, and retail centers. The Real Estate Development segment manages land acquisition, architectural design, financing, and commercialization of multi-family housing, residential apartment buildings, and mixed-use urban properties. The company maintains operational footprints in Chile, Peru, Colombia, and Argentina through operating subsidiaries such as Echeverria Izquierdo Montajes Industriales SA, Echeverria Izquierdo Inmobiliaria SA, and Pilotes Terratest SA. In recent developments, Echeverria Izquierdo SA has expanded its industrial and civil construction backlog across renewable energy, power transmission, and mining infrastructure projects in the Andean region; broadened its residential real estate development portfolio in the Chilean and Peruvian markets; accelerated the implementation of industrialized prefabrication methods and Building Information Modeling (BIM) technologies to enhance productivity; and completed strategic debt refinancing programs and local bond placements to strengthen liquidity and support its long-term project pipeline.
