Business
Forestal, Constructora y Comercial del Pacífico Sur S.A. is a Chilean investment holding company engaged in the forestry, agro-industrial, real estate, and financial investment sectors. Founded in 1968 and headquartered in Santiago, Chile, the company operates as a key holding vehicle within the Angelini Group, managing an extensive portfolio of operating subsidiaries and equity interests across Chile and Latin America. The company's core operations and product offerings are structured across four principal business segments: Forestry and Timber Processing, which includes the ownership, cultivation, and harvesting of radiata pine and eucalyptus plantations; the manufacturing and distribution of sawn timber, structural lumber, and remanufactured wood products; the production of engineered wood panels, including medium-density fiberboard (MDF), particleboard (MDP), and hardboard; and the supply of biomass and wood chips for pulp manufacturing and energy generation; Real Estate and Construction, encompassing urban and rural land development; commercial, industrial, and residential building construction; civil engineering and project management; and property leasing and asset administration services; Agro-Industrial Operations, comprising the cultivation, harvesting, packaging, and commercialization of agricultural crops and fruit orchards; and Financial and Portfolio Investments, involving strategic capital allocation, treasury management, and long-term equity investments in leading industrial, energy, and commercial entities associated with the Angelini economic group, including AntarChile S.A. and Inversiones Siemel S.A. The company serves industrial manufacturers, construction contractors, pulp and paper producers, agricultural distributors, and commercial real estate tenants across domestic and international export markets. In recent corporate developments, Forestal, Constructora y Comercial del Pacífico Sur S.A. has executed strategic corporate reorganizations and equity rationalization programs across the Angelini Group's holding architecture to optimize administrative structures, streamline intercompany holdings, and improve capital allocation efficiency. Within the last two years, the company has further expanded sustainable forestry management initiatives and ESG compliance certifications across its timberland assets, optimized dividend and liquidity management policies to strengthen balance sheet resilience, and recalibrated its real estate development and asset management portfolios in response to prevailing macroeconomic conditions and regional market demand shifts.
