Bombardier Inc. (BDRPF) designs, manufactures, markets, modifies and maintains performance-leading business jets and specialized mission platforms for corporate, government and military customers worldwide; its core product portfolio encompasses the Challenger series of super-midsize and large jets including the Challenger 3500 and Challenger 650 models noted for advanced cabin technologies, short-field performance and reliability; the Global series of large and ultra-long-range aircraft such as the Global 7500 and the flagship Global 8000, which offers the fastest civil aircraft speed since Concorde with superior range, smoothness and connectivity; and comprehensive aftermarket services encompassing maintenance, parts distribution, predictive analytics and 24/7 support through a global network of 10 facilities across six countries. Founded in 1942 and headquartered in Montreal, Canada, with manufacturing in Canada, the United States and Mexico, the company serves a fleet exceeding 5,100 aircraft operated by discerning clients globally and employs over 18,000 people focused on aviation innovation, sustainability and operational excellence. In June 2025, Bombardier secured a landmark US$1.7 billion firm order from BOND for 50 Challenger and Global jets plus a pioneering long-term service agreement, including 70 purchase options that could elevate the total value beyond US$4 billion with deliveries commencing in 2027; additionally, in November 2025, the company signaled openness to defense sector mergers and acquisitions amid rising global military spending initiatives.
