Business
Nolit ad is a Serbia-based enterprise primarily engaged in publishing, book and stationery retailing, and commercial real estate asset management. The company operates through three core business segments: Publishing, Retail and Distribution, and Property Management. In its publishing division, the company produces and distributes a wide range of printed titles, including domestic and international fiction; academic textbooks, learning aids, and scholarly monographs; philosophical, historical, and sociological literature; reference materials including encyclopedias and multilingual dictionaries; and children's books. Through its retail and commercial trading operations, Nolit ad distributes consumer books; school supplies and pedagogical materials; commercial stationery and paper goods; fine art equipment; and gift items to individual consumers, educational institutions, and corporate enterprises across Serbia. In its property division, the company manages and leases commercial real estate, including prime retail storefronts, office premises, and warehouse facilities. In recent years, Nolit ad has executed major strategic shifts and operational reorganizations, transitioning its core revenue model toward commercial real estate leasing and asset optimization following the rationalization of its historical retail bookstore chain. As part of its latest restructuring initiatives, the company has streamlined administrative operations, established third-party retail and distribution arrangements, and focused resources on maximizing rental yields from its commercial property portfolio while preserving its core publishing catalogue and intellectual property rights. Founded in 1928, Nolit ad is headquartered in Belgrade, Serbia.
