Banese operates an economic conglomerate that includes subsidiaries such as Mulvi Instituição de Pagamentos S.A. and the recently registered digital bank Desty, launched in 2022 in partnership with Technisys to enhance financial inclusion through modern digital solutions. In late 2024 and into 2025, the bank pursued strategic partnerships, including a binding proposal from BRB - Banco de Brasília S.A. for a potential capital increase via subscription of common shares, which would not alter its controlling interest; an agreement for a strategic partnership in loteria operations; and ongoing evaluations for partnerships in its insurance counter, marked by a change in financial advisor in August 2025. These initiatives reflect Banese's efforts to modernize operations, expand service offerings, and strengthen its position in the competitive Brazilian banking sector amid digital transformation trends. As of early 2025, the bank manages significant assets, with a credit portfolio of approximately R$3.6 billion and captured resources of R$7.5 billion reported in prior periods, underscoring its role as a key regional financial institution.
