Alarko Holding A.S. (ALARK.IS) is a diversified Turkish conglomerate engaged in energy production, distribution and trading; construction contracting for infrastructure projects including airports, highways, subways, high-speed trains, light rail systems, energy facilities, pipelines, industrial plants, treatment plants, business centers, hotels and hospitals; land development for residential and commercial spaces; manufacturing of heating, cooling, ventilation, air conditioning equipment, boilers, heat pumps and circulation pumps under brands such as Alarko Carrier; tourism operations encompassing hotels, sports and spa centers like Hillside Beach Club and movie theaters; agriculture activities in greenhouses, fertilizers, food processing, seed breeding and herbal medicine via Alto Farm and Palmira Agro; and investment management through equity funds, private equity, venture capital and aviation technical maintenance. The company, founded in 1954 by İshak Alaton and Dr. Üzeyir Garih as a limited partnership focused on heating, air-conditioning and cooling, became a holding in 1973, went public in 1974 and is headquartered in Istanbul, Turkey, with approximately 50 subsidiaries, over 6,000 employees and operations spanning Turkey, Europe, Central Asia, the Middle East and beyond. Alarko Holding serves industrial, commercial, residential and public sector customers across these segments, emphasizing sustainability, innovation and global competitiveness through advanced R&D and international projects. In recent developments, Altek Alarko formed a joint venture with China's Gotion Group in 2024 to produce energy storage systems and lithium-ion batteries in Turkey (60% Altek Alarko, 40% Gotion Singapore); Palmira Agro opened Europe's largest micro granule fertilizer factory in Turkey with $20 million investment, featuring hybrid technology for reduced energy and water use; Alarko laid the foundation for a major greenhouse complex in Kazakhstan's Shymkent region; Alarko Carrier launched a new production facility in Eskişehir for boilers and heat pumps; the company entered agriculture formally with Alto Farm in 2023; Alarko Tourism expanded with the renovated Hillside Bodrum hotel reopening in 2024; and Alarko Holding celebrated its 70th anniversary with a new logo, corporate identity and "Value Redefined" slogan.
