Business
Vakif Faktoring A.S. is a Turkey-based financial services company that provides domestic and international factoring solutions to corporate, commercial, and small-to-medium enterprise (SME) clients. Operating as a subsidiary of Turkiye Vakiflar Bankasi T.A.O. (VakifBank), the company delivers short-term working capital financing, receivables management, credit risk protection, and collection services. Its core product and service portfolio includes domestic factoring, comprising recourse factoring, non-recourse factoring with credit risk coverage against buyer insolvency, post-dated commercial check and invoice discounting, and buyer-centric supply chain financing; international factoring, comprising export factoring, import factoring, foreign buyer credit assessment, and cross-border receivables collection conducted through the Factors Chain International (FCI) global network; and digital factoring solutions, comprising electronic invoice (e-Fatura) discounting, automated registration and tracking via the Central Invoice Registration System (MFKS) of the Financial Institutions Association (FKB), online supplier financing portals, and digital application workflows. Headquartered in Istanbul, Turkey, and established in 1998, the company serves clients nationwide across diverse sectors, including manufacturing, wholesale trade, textiles, construction, automotive, and logistics, while supporting cross-border trade operations in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. In recent operational developments, Vakif Faktoring A.S. has expanded its funding base through repeated corporate bond and commercial bill issuances to qualified investors on Borsa Istanbul to support ongoing loan book growth. The company has also completed capital increases to bolster its regulatory capital adequacy ratio, enhanced its proprietary digital factoring infrastructure to enable straight-through electronic invoice processing, and expanded joint supplier financing programs with parent entity VakifBank to provide automated working capital liquidity across corporate supply chains.
